Douglass ISD District Goals
Goal #1: Parents and community members will be full partners with educators in the education of Douglass ISD Students. [TEC §4.001 (b)(1)]
Goal #2: Students will be provided a comprehensive academic experience designed to challenge and support students at every level, while increasing their academic growth and mastery in all content areas. [TEC §4.001 (b)(2)(4)]
Goal #3: The locally developed, “Arrows of Excellence” Program will be utilized across all grade levels. Leadership, responsibility, service, and character will be emphasized along with positive character traits to prepare students to become successful adults. [TEC §4.001 (b)(5)(11)]
Goal #4: Douglass ISD will efficiently recruit, utilize, and retain an exemplary staff who value excellence as the expectation.
Goal #5: Douglass ISD will maintain a safe, secure, structured and disciplined environment that meets the students physical and mental needs conducive to being successful in all activities.
